Is Vantage legit?

Who makes Vantage?
Vantage is built by Albert Munté, a technical program manager in Los Angeles, who originally built it for his own job search. It's an independent product, not a faceless portal — the person answering [email protected] is the person who wrote the code.
Is it safe to give it my resume?
Your resume never leaves your computer to be stored anywhere. Vantage is a desktop app — your resume, job history, and notes live in a local folder on your own machine, not in our database (we don't have a user database). When the AI scores or tailors, the text is sent to the AI provider to process that one request, the same as pasting it into a chatbot yourself — nothing is retained by Vantage. Why does macOS warn me when I install it?
If you see an "unidentified developer" warning, that's macOS's standard notice for apps distributed outside the App Store, not a virus detection. Verified code-signing is in progress; in the meantime the app can be opened by right-clicking it and choosing Open.
Where do the jobs come from?
Vantage reads 239 company career boards directly at the source (Greenhouse, Ashby, Lever, Workday, SmartRecruiters, Eightfold), plus optional job-board search. These are real, current postings pulled from the same public feeds companies publish for their own career pages — Vantage links you to the company's own application page, and never applies on your behalf without you.
What does it cost, and can I try it first?

Can it guarantee me a job?
No — and be wary of anything that claims it can. Vantage automates the mechanical parts (finding, scoring, tailoring, tracking, prepping) so your time goes into the parts that actually get people hired: applying to the right roles fast and showing up prepared.
